PolyOne Shareholders Approve All Proposals at 2015 Annual Meeting

CLEVELAND – PolyOne Corporation (NYSE: POL), a leading global provider of specialized polymer materials, services and solutions, today held its 2015 annual meeting of shareholders, during which time all presented proposals before shareholders were approved.

Actions included the re-election of the following individuals to serve on the company’s Board of Directors until the 2016 annual meeting: Stephen D. Newlin, Richard H. Fearon, Gregory J. Goff, Sandra Beach Lin, Richard A. Lorraine, Robert M. Patterson, William H. Powell, Kerry J. Preete, Farah M. Walters and William A. Wulfsohn.

Director Gordon Harnett was not up for re-election, having reached the company’s required retirement age. “Gordon has provided invaluable insights and perspectives to management and fellow Directors during his affiliation with PolyOne,” said Stephen D. Newlin, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, PolyOne Corporation. “He has supported the transformation of PolyOne into the specialty company we are today, and on behalf of our entire Board, we offer our most sincere appreciation and thanks for his dedication and contributions.”

During the meeting PolyOne’s President and Chief Executive Officer Robert M. Patterson, provided reflections on the prior year, as well as commentary on the company’s focus going forward. “2014 was another great year in the history of our company, and our record breaking performances were evidence of that,” Mr. Patterson said. “Though at PolyOne, we are focused on the future, not the past.
