The resulting portfolio includes a diverse range of thermoplastic and thermoset continuous-fiber carbon and glass reinforced materials that offer exceptional strength-to-weight ratios as well as unmatched flexibility.
Specific continuous-fiber thermoplastic technologies include:
• Multi-axial and multilayer tapes, laminates and sheets up to 10’ wide
• Sandwich panels in unlimited lengths, up to 6” thick and 10’ wide
• High volume production capacity
Its leading-edge portfolio of advanced thermoset and thermoplastic composites, including short, long and continuous-fiber reinforced materials, is one of the most comprehensive in the industry.

Reinforcing a thermoplastic with long glass fiber is a cost-effective way to boost mechanical properties of unreinforced resin systems and, even, short fiber solutions.
Compare long glass fiber thermoplastics strength, toughness, impact data and more.
Long fiber reinforced thermoplastics are a good option to consider for metal replacement at a fraction of the weight.

With a weight savings of more than 50% versus plywood, these continuous-fiber reinforced thermoplastic sandwich panels offer boat manufacturers a lighter, more efficient alternative to traditional marine construction materials.
Hammerhead Marine Composite Panels consist of thermoplastics, continuous glass-fiber face sheets, and foam cores.
Boat builders now have an innovative alternative based on strong, lightweight thermoplastic materials that can remove multiple production steps for better quality and economics,” said Matt Borowiec, general manager, PolyOne Advanced Composites.
