Avient Launches GLS™ Thermoplastic Elastomers with Antimicrobial Technology That Protects Against Microbial Growth
CLEVELAND – May 10, 2021 – Avient today announced the addition of three proprietary, thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) formulations that contain antimicrobial additives to its GLS™ TPE portfolio.

CLEVELAND – June 11, 2018 – PolyOne Corporation (NYSE: POL) today unveiled the first-ever thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material able to resist blue jean staining for white and light-colored phone cases.
Using Versaflex™ CE 3320-70 TPE helps brands avoid the sourcing and manufacturing issues of silicone, and it is the only thermoplastic material that stands up to blue jean staining when used in white and light-colored phone cases.
This recyclable thermoplastic also processes faster than silicones and adheres well to polycarbonate when overmolded.
