Learn the benefits of using TPEs that change color as temperature rises and falls
TPEs can also incorporate a thermochromic additive that changes color depending on the temperature.
TPEs are easy to tint with a wide range of colors and effects, including thermochromatic pigments.

Avient ColorMatrix has pioneered the development of liquid
color dispersions since the 1970s and is now considered the
leading global innovator and supplier of liquid colorants for
thermoplastic and silicone applications.
THE MAGIC OF LIQUID COLOR
Liquid color is a uniform dispersion of color pigment or dye into a liquid carrier material.

On occasion, Joule
RHB products can also be used in bottle polymer
destined for water applications, but this usage
decision depends on the application tolerance to
color which must be determined via marketing
specialists prior to any trials.
The additive is not soluble in MEG, but is very
thermally heat stable and at the low ppm addition
levels commonly used has no measurable impact
on the polymer process other than that coming
from the blue tint introduced into the polymer.
Re-establishment of the toner package will be
required to achieve proper resin color.

The lightness (L*) values,
green–red (a*) opponent values, and blue–yellow (b*)
opponent values defined by the International Commission
on Illumination (CIE) color space were used to identify
differences in color, and the yellowness index (YI) was
measured in accordance with ASTM D1925.
The loading of ZPT was reduced from 1500 to
1250, and 750 ppm, and a blue tint colorant masterbatch
was added at two levels, 3% and 6% by weight of the final
compound.
