– PolyOne today unveiled Wilflex™ EPIC™ Single LC White, a new, white ink that is universally compatible with both polyester and cotton fabrics.
Typically, they work with polyester, cotton-poly blends and 100% cotton garments in a given day, and often have to switch inks to avoid bleeding, adhesion or fiber problems.
EPIC Single LC White is an addition to Wilflex’s existing portfolio of white inks, which will soon be introduced in upgraded formulations, including:
• EPIC Top Score LC White – aimed at 100% polyester sports apparel,
ideal for short run jobs
• EPIC Polywhite LC – provides greater bleed resistance for 100% polyester
sports garments
• EPIC Performance LC White – combines low bleed with ultra-stretch
properties
• EPIC Amazing Bright White – upgraded to improve bleed resistance and
opacity on cotton poly blends

MILAN – PolyOne today launched a breakthrough technology for coloring polyester fiber that eliminates aqueous dyeing and its associated wastewater treatment, giving textile manufacturers increased production and greater flexibility.
In addition, these new solutions allow standard white polyester fiber producers with reactor spinning lines to produce colored products in-line, eliminating the need for a secondary aqueous dyeing process.
Visitors can also learn about the broader portfolio of PolyOne solutions for textiles, including Wilflex™ screen printing ink solutions for polyester.

One way clothing and footwear producers are working to address these priorities is by using more recycled raw materials, such as recycled polyester from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles, within their synthetic fibers.
However, for synthetic fibers manufactured by an extrusion process, such as polyester, polyamide, and polypropylene, there is another technology that uses no water and less energy than classic bath-dyeing: spin-dyeing.
Our portfolio includes Renol™ Fiber Colorants specifically developed for polyester and polyamide (nylon) fibers and Remafin™ Fiber Colorants for polypropylene (PP) fibers and spunbond nonwovens.
