(Fiber Reinforced Polymer).
• Resin chemistry is optimized for process conditions, fiber adhesion,
and end-use application of FRP.

and extend the life of fiber optic telecommunication
cables.

To develop a high-end version with
additional features, the design team was seeking a
new material.
The new material, a GLS™ thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)
from Avient, met the rigorous needs of the high-end rifle
manufacturer, and then some.

rigorous environmental testing, including months of
