Just a few months ago, we completed the acquisition of the Clariant Masterbatch business, the largest acquisition in the 20-year history of our company. It’s in this spirit that we joined legacy PolyOne and the Clariant Masterbatch business, two complementary businesses, and formed a new one that we’ve named Avient. Avient acquired the Clariant Masterbatch business (CMB) on July 1, 2020 (the “Acquisition Date”).
