Cut-off streams are typically for raw materials that are recycled and manufactured again to make the same polymer. Open-loop recycling streams typically consist of raw materials that are recycled and manufactured to make a variety of new products – splitting the allocated carbon emissions amongst the raw material supplier and the polymer manufacturer.
