Under the
Maxxam™ brand, standard grades
are formulated with any combination
of calcium carbonate, glass fiber,
mica and talc to provide a desired
balance of properties, including
stiffness, durability, impact resistance
and heat resistance.
Offers a moderate level of stiffness
over the unfilled materials as well
as improved drop impact strength.

Provides the maximum strength
and heat resistance among
polypropylene compounds.
Maxxam™ Mica
Reinforced Polypropylene
Maxxam™ Glass/Mineral
Reinforced
Offers a high level of stiffness and heat
deflection as well as reduced warpage
and increased dimensional stability

THE CHALLENGE
When PET is recycled it goes through multiple
heat cycles, referred to as melt heat histories.
Toners can often contribute towards this yellowing
if they are not heat stable.
Since the formulation also has improved heat
stability, it will not accelerate yellowing during the
recycling process, and will also help reduce energy
consumption and improve bottle mechanical
strength by incorporating all the added benefits
from the SmartHeat RHC technology.

Highly specialized solutions, LND coatings add application flexibility as they can also be used as an antistatic coating on PTFE impregnated glass cloth, or as a resistance carrier for heating bands.

Added during processing, Hydrocerol is heat activated and releases gas to form a cellular foam structure, keeping the outer skin solid without voids.
