So we’ve developed the ideal TPEs for your infant
care application, from materials that are durable and safe for baby contact to regulatory compliant grades and
soft-touch solutions
The food contact compliance statements are based on the composition of the TPE and cite any restrictions, limitations, food types, and/or
specific migration limitations (depending on the regulation).
Better Quality Control – Eliminate the need for
many secondary operations required for other
materials so that results are controlled and
consistent

Avient engineered a new customized formulation for the
part, which provided both the processability required
for extremely short cycle injection-compression
molding, as well as including an additive to stabilize
the material when in contact with copper.
This additive
protects the door from cracking as it comes into contact
with copper particles over time.
