Avient provides a range of inks used for striping, offset printing and top coating of fluoropolymers and other high temperature resins used for wire insulation applications.

This digital color service supports PCR resin coloration by digitally illustrating the color possibilities or limitations of certain types of PCR, helping to simplifying the overall decision-making process and shortening the time-to-launch for new product ranges.

Formulations can also be customized to meet specific customer needs based on multiple resins.

If local and regional customers require, these Complēt and OnForce formulations can be tailored to meet specific application requirements by utilizing a range of engineering resins, from polypropylene (PP) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) to polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and polyphthalamide (PPA) for power tools, sports equipment, utility vehicle, furniture, and outdoor recreation applications.

The resins have bio-based content up to 95 percent, as calculated to ASTM D6866 standard.

This process allows the coating resin to penetrate the fiber bundle before the yarns are braided, allowing for improved impregnation and a higher level of pickup, ultimately extending the life of the braid and reducing required maintenance.
