ThermoBallistic™ thermoplastic panels are thermally formed with layers of 0°/90° unidirectional E-glass fiber reinforcements with polyolefin-based resin systems and are available for protection to UL 752 level 3.

It is often used in thermoset and thermoplastic applications where the fiber is used as reinforcement. The liquid is then extruded through bushings and are coated (sized) to help bundle the filaments and prepare the fibers for composite resin interface.
