Flame Retardant Polyolefin Formulations

Maxxam™ NHFR Non-Halogen Flame Retardant Formulations

Proven & Sustainable

Maxxam™ FR flame retardant polyolefin formulations are engineered to meet stringent flammability performance requirements. Standard formulations conforming to UL 94 V-2, V-0 and 5VA performance ratings are available, with many in the portfolio offering elevated Relative Thermal Index (RTI) ratings.

Jacketing and cross-web formulations meeting UL 444 for wire & cable and plenum applications are also available. As an industry standard with proven performance for nearly 20 years, Maxxam FR is an ideal choice for a variety of industries, including consumer, electrical and electronic, and wire and cable. It continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of the marketplace, including sustainability. Custom products can be formulated with recycled PP and PE for improved recyclability, plus the portfolio includes halogen and non-halogen products.
